Muslim League Balochistan Inaugurates PB-43 Liaison Office

Report: FT Correspondent:

QUETTA — The liaison office of Muslim League Balochistan for PB-43 was inaugurated in Quetta at a ceremony attended by a large number of party workers, tribal elders and local personalities.

Muslim League Secretary Information Chaudhry Shabbir, Secretary Liaison Abdul Fateh Jamali, Prime Minister’s Youth Programme Coordinator Haider Khan Achakzai and spokesperson Shakir Muhammad Hasni were also present.

Addressing the ceremony, Muslim League Balochistan General Secretary Jamal Shah Kakar said the liaison office would serve as an effective channel of direct communication between the people and the party.

He said the office was not merely a building but would serve as a centre for public service, where citizens could voice their concerns and efforts would be made to resolve their problems.

Jamal Shah Kakar said the Muslim League was the party that laid the foundation of Pakistan and continued to believe in politics focused on development, stability and prosperity. He said the people of Balochistan had received hollow slogans and promises for years, adding that those who treated the people’s mandate as their personal property would be held accountable by the people.

He said education, healthcare, clean drinking water, employment and law and order were basic rights of every citizen and not anyone’s favour. He said the Muslim League would raise its voice on every forum for these rights.

Addressing party workers, Jamal Shah Kakar said the real strength of the party lay in its ideological and sincere workers. He urged them to establish door-to-door contact with the people, listen to their problems and take the party’s message of public service to every doorstep.

He described the youth as the bright future of the party and said the future of Balochistan was closely linked with its young generation.

He announced that the process of organizational restructuring would be accelerated to make Muslim League Balochistan a stronger, organized and active political force.

He said the trust of the people of constituency PB-43 was an asset for the party and fulfilling that trust was its responsibility.

The ceremony concluded with special prayers for the security of the country, development of Balochistan and prosperity of the people.
