ISLAMABAD– Faad Waheed has previously served as Senior Vice President of the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry (ICCI) from 2022 to 2024. He has also served as an Independent Director of the National Productivity Organization (NPO), Government of Pakistan, and is currently working as Director Operations & Public Relations at Waheed Group of Companies (WGC).
In his maiden speech, Faad Waheed highlighted the importance of the industrial sector in creating employment opportunities and ensuring uninterrupted availability of vegetable ghee and cooking oil, essential food items, to the public at affordable prices.
He also outlined his plans to address challenges facing the industry and sought cooperation from leading stakeholders, who assured him of their full support.
Talking to the media after assuming charge, Faad Waheed expressed his sincere gratitude to the senior members of the Pakistan Vanaspati Manufacturers Association (PVMA) for their trust and confidence in his leadership. He said he was committed to addressing the challenges faced by Pakistan’s ghee and cooking oil sector and contributing to its development.
Faad Waheed further said that, with his extensive experience, leadership capabilities and deep understanding of industry affairs, he would utilize his expertise for the welfare, development and sustainable growth of the sector.
