SARGODHA — Government College of Technology’s Architecture Department students Areeba Tariq Awan and Amina Waheed secured second and third positions respectively across Punjab, bringing pride to the institution and their parents.

A ceremony was held at the Principal’s Office to honour the high-achieving students. Principal Madam Amira Akram, Head of Architecture Department Madam Samin Irfan, and other faculty members attended the event and congratulated the students. Bouquets were presented and a cake was also cut.

Principal Amira Akram said the students’ achievement was a matter of pride for the institution and reflected their hard work, talent and dedication. She said the college was utilising available resources to provide students with quality education, practical training and a supportive learning environment.

Head of Architecture Department Samin Irfan said the department had maintained strong academic performance since 2016, with students regularly securing prominent positions across Punjab. She attributed the latest achievement to the students’ hard work, parents’ support, teachers’ dedication and the facilities provided by the institution.

She said students were trained in architectural design, drawing, AutoCAD, building construction, surveying, model making and quantity estimation to prepare them for professional careers.
