QUETTA –Balochistan Governor Jaffar Khan Mandokhail has said that the true greatness of political leadership lies not in power but in public trust and service, adding that public welfare, education and healthcare have remained the focus of his political career.
Speaking during meetings with various delegations at Governor House Quetta, he said that numerous projects in education, health and public welfare were completed during his 40-year political career, benefiting millions of people across different districts.
The Governor said the real success of a development project was not its building but the human benefits it generated. He expressed hope that the benefits of such projects would continue to serve generations to come.
He said education was his top priority and a key pillar of his political vision. Roads, buildings and bridges could provide facilities, he added, but education gave people the power to change their destiny.
Jaffar Khan Mandokhail said that in view of rapidly changing economic and political conditions, Pakistan needed to develop human potential and nurture minds capable of taking Balochistan towards educational advancement and a modern economy.
