QUETTA — Three brothers were killed and another person was seriously injured in an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) blast in the Killi Bakhtiar Khan area of Loni Tehsil in Duki District, Balochistan.
According to SP Duki Mansoor Ahmed Buzdar, the explosion occurred when a private vehicle carrying the victims towards their agricultural land was crossing a stream and suddenly struck an IED.
The three brothers — Rahmatullah, Durrani and Niamatullah, sons of Sultan — died on the spot, while Atiqullah, son of Maulvi Nek Muhammad, sustained serious injuries.
The bodies and the injured were shifted to District Hospital Duki, the SP said.
Following the blast, security forces cordoned off the area and launched a search operation.
