GILGIT — Renowned artist and musician Fawad Alam Khan met Deputy Commissioner and District Magistrate Gilgit, Captain (Retd.) Arif Ahmed.
During the meeting, Fawad Alam Khan briefed the Deputy Commissioner on his artistic journey, contributions to music and efforts to promote the cultural and literary identity of Gilgit-Baltistan at the national and international levels.
Deputy Commissioner Arif Ahmed appreciated his services and said artists from Gilgit-Baltistan were playing an important role in highlighting the region’s culture and positive image before the world.
Fawad Alam Khan thanked the Deputy Commissioner and reaffirmed his commitment to promoting the culture, music and positive identity of Gilgit-Baltistan.
