KARACHI — The Chinese Consulate-General in Karachi has donated 110 latest fumigation fogger machines worth Rs. 1.7 million to the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) to strengthen disinfection and epidemic prevention efforts during the monsoon season.
Acting Chinese Consul General Feng Deheng said the donation reflects the strong and “ironclad” friendship between China and Pakistan. He said the equipment would help Karachi combat seasonal infectious diseases and protect public health.
Karachi Mayor Barrister Murtaza Wahab thanked the Chinese government for the donation, saying the machines would be used for fumigation and spraying operations across the city ahead of and during the monsoon season.
