ISLAMABAD– Pakistan Awaami Quwat Party Chairman Khaqan Waheed Khawaja has said that inflation continues to rise, making it essential to introduce effective, public-friendly policies to provide relief to the people.
Speaking to various delegations, he said persistent inflation had increased the difficulties faced by ordinary citizens, while repeated increases in petrol and diesel prices had further contributed to rising prices.
He called for the formation of a team comprising economic and technical experts to formulate effective policies based on the needs of the people and ensure their proper implementation to help reduce poverty and provide sustainable relief.
