RAWALPINDI—A grand meeting was held at Markazi Jamia Masjid Hanfia, Jamia Masjid Road, Rawalpindi, to review and finalize arrangements for the central Eid Milad-un-Nabi ﷺ procession. Religious scholars, spiritual leaders, representatives of Ahle Sunnat organizations, Seerat and Milad committees, and procession organizers attended the meeting.
The meeting unanimously decided that all Milad groups from across the city would join the central procession on 12 Rabi-ul-Awwal instead of holding separate neighborhood-level processions, to demonstrate unity, discipline and collective solidarity.
Detailed consultations were held regarding the procession route, security arrangements, discipline, reception camps and other logistical matters, which were finalized through mutual consensus.
President of the Central Seerat-o-Milad Committee Rawalpindi Fawad Butt, General Secretary Abrar Ahmed Sheikh, Chairman Farhan Sheikh, Vice Chairman Ghulam Ali Khan, Senior Vice President Asimullah Qureshi, other office-bearers, core committee members and representatives of various Milad committees attended the meeting.
Participants expressed full confidence in the arrangements and pledged their cooperation to ensure that Eid Milad-un-Nabi ﷺ celebrations are observed in a peaceful, organized and dignified manner.
