Lahore: TECNO has introduced the CAMON 50 with a focus on improving smartphone photography for distant subjects, a common challenge for users capturing stage performances, architecture, wildlife and landscapes.
According to the company, many smartphone cameras lose clarity when users zoom in, often producing soft or blurry images with reduced detail. The CAMON 50 has been designed to address this issue through advanced imaging technology and AI 60X SuperZoom, aimed at helping users capture faraway scenes with greater clarity.
The smartphone features a 50MP Sony LYT-700C Ultra Night Camera, which works with AI 60X SuperZoom to produce detailed and high-quality images even when subjects are at a distance. TECNO says the system enables users to capture textures, facial expressions and architectural details with better precision while zooming.
The device also includes FlashSnap technology, which is intended to reduce motion blur in zoomed-in photos. This feature is designed for situations such as sporting events, stage performances and spontaneous distant moments where subjects may be moving quickly.
TECNO’s AI imaging engine supports the camera system by automatically optimising exposure, colours and image detail in real time. The company says this allows users to take natural-looking photographs without manually adjusting camera settings.
Captured images can be viewed on the CAMON 50’s 1.5K 144Hz AMOLED display, which offers vibrant colours and sharp contrast to present the detail recorded by the camera system.
With AI 60X SuperZoom, a 50MP Sony LYT-700C camera, FlashSnap technology and intelligent AI imaging, TECNO says the CAMON 50 is aimed at giving users more confidence while photographing distant moments on a smartphone.
