ISLAMABAD–Mumtaz Akhtar, Provincial Vice President of the Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) Women Wing, said in a statement that she already holds a position within the party’s Women Wing and was not consulted before a notification was issued appointing her as Central Deputy Coordinator of the PML-N Labour Wing.
She clarified that she has no affiliation with the Labour Wing and has neither accepted nor authorized the appointment. Mumtaz Akhtar further stated that her name should not be used in connection with the PML-N Labour Wing.
