Islamabad—Chairman of Pakistan Awami Quwat, Khaqan Waheed Khawaja, strongly criticized Maulana Fazlur Rehman’s recent remarks about the Pakistan Army, stating that irresponsible statements against national security institutions undermine national unity and serve hostile narratives.
He emphasized that the Pakistan Armed Forces have made unmatched sacrifices in defending the country and combating terrorism, adding that the sacrifices of the martyrs must never be politicized.
Khawaja urged political leaders to exercise responsibility, respect state institutions, and prioritize Pakistan’s national interest above political differences. He reaffirmed Pakistan Awami Quwat’s unwavering support for the Armed Forces, national unity, and the country’s security.
