MANDI BAHAUDDIN:Assistant Director and Secretary, District Consumer Protection Council Mandi Bahauddin, Shehla Mubeen, has urged citizens to use the Punjab Government’s Consumer Protect mobile app to register complaints regarding consumer rights violations from the comfort of their homes.
She said the app, available on both the Google Play Store and Apple App Store, enables consumers to report issues such as non-display of price lists, expired or defective products, missing manufacturing or expiry dates, non-issuance of sales receipts, warranty and guarantee disputes, defective services, and misleading information about products or services.
Shehla Mubeen said complaints submitted through the app under the Punjab Consumer Protection Act are processed promptly, ensuring better protection of consumers’ rights and quicker resolution of grievances.
