KARACHI — The Pakistan Australia Business Forum (PABF) successfully hosted its Annual Award Ceremony Dinner in Karachi, bringing together leading business leaders, government officials, and trade representatives from Pakistan and Australia to celebrate growing commercial ties between the two countries.
The event was graced by His Excellency Mr. Timothy Kane, High Commissioner of Australia to Pakistan, who attended as Patron-in-Chief of PABF. His presence underscored Australia’s commitment to strengthening economic and trade relations with Pakistan.
Speaking at the event, PABF Chairman Pervez Madraswala highlighted the Forum’s active role even during the COVID-19 pandemic. Through a series of productive webinars with the High Commission of Australia, Austrade, Pakistan Trade Commission Sydney, Pakistan High Commission, and FPCCI officials, PABF ensured continuous dialogue and created new avenues for collaboration.
The Forum also led a Pakistan delegation of pulses traders to Gulfood Expo 2025 in Dubai. In coordination with Austrade, PABF facilitated one-to-one business meetings at the Expo, resulting in valuable trade linkages.
During the ceremony, PABF recognized and awarded top traders and business leaders for their outstanding contributions to Pakistan-Australia trade across key sectors including agriculture, food, education, energy, and technology.
