ISLAMABAD — The two-day auction of commercial plots in the prime sectors of G-13 and G-14, organised by the Federal Government Employees Housing Authority (FGEHA), formally commenced on Tuesday.
The auction began at 10:00 a.m. on September 15 and will continue on September 16, 2026, at Auragandi Event Complex, Service Road East, Sector E-11/4, Islamabad.
Various commercial plots in G-13 and G-14, including locations in G-14 Markaz, G-14/2, G-14/3 and G-14/4, are being offered to investors.
On the first day, 15 commercial plots were sold, generating total revenue of more than Rs10 billion. Investors from different sectors showed keen interest in acquiring commercial properties in the rapidly developing areas.
Director General FGEHA Captain (Retired) Zafar Iqbal said that a transparent, merit-based and well-organised auction would strengthen investors’ confidence and contribute to the promotion of business activities.
He said the Authority was committed to providing the best possible investment opportunities and facilities to investors. He added that complete transparency was being maintained throughout the auction process and all proceedings were being conducted in accordance with prescribed rules and regulations.
FGEHA has also established an Investor Facilitation Cell under the supervision of the Director Staff to provide investors with a centralised mechanism for addressing their issues and applications.
Through the Cell, investors can directly contact the Director Staff instead of visiting different offices. The Director Staff will forward their issues to the relevant wings, monitor progress and ensure timely completion of necessary action.
The Authority said the initiative aims to provide investors with transparent, swift and convenient services at a single point and make the investment process more efficient and reliable.
FGEHA has invited investors to participate in the auction and benefit from the commercial and investment potential of G-13 and G-14, among the prominent and rapidly developing locations of Islamabad.
