SARGODHA: Pakistan’s proud daughter and Germany-based social and youth leader Abeera Zia has been appointed as the Official Ambassador of the International Organization of Youth (USA) for a two-year term.
Her appointment has been warmly welcomed by public, social, educational, literary and journalistic circles, who have extended heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to her.
Abeera Zia is also serving as a representative of the Prime Minister’s Youth Council in Germany. Her appointment as Official Ambassador of the International Organization of Youth (USA) is being regarded as recognition of her services in youth welfare, social development, leadership and her positive contribution at the international level.
As Official Ambassador, Abeera Zia will work to mobilize young people around the world to promote education, leadership, peace, social development and international cooperation. She will also focus on empowering young people, highlighting their potential and encouraging them to contribute to positive social change.
Speaking on the occasion, Abeera Zia said the honour was a matter of pride not only for her but also for her beloved homeland, Pakistan, and its youth. She expressed her determination to discharge her responsibilities with honesty, dedication and commitment, while making every possible effort to empower young people and promote their development.
Public, social, educational, literary and journalistic circles congratulated Abeera Zia on the prestigious international honour and expressed hope that she would further enhance Pakistan’s image at the global level through her abilities, leadership and social services.
