MANDI BAHAUDDIN–Regional Police Officer (RPO) Gujranwala Khurram Shahzad Haider Warraich visited Mandi Bahauddin and, along with District Police Officer Kamran Aamir Khan, inaugurated the new building of the SP Investigation Office.
SP Abdul Majeed Chaudhry and DSPs from across the district were also present on the occasion.
In line with the vision of the Inspector General of Police, RPO Khurram Shahzad Haider also held open courts at Pahari Anwali and Malikwal police stations to strengthen public engagement, ensure access to justice and promptly address citizens’ grievances.
Addressing the gathering, the RPO said the purpose of the open courts was to facilitate direct access between citizens and police officials and ensure timely resolution of their problems.
He said protection of life and property, provision of justice on merit and improvement of police station culture remain among the top priorities of the police.
The RPO urged citizens to openly present their complaints during the open courts and assured them that their issues would be addressed on merit. He also issued directions to the concerned officers for the resolution of requests presented by citizens.
