ISLAMABAD —President of the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI), Atif Ikram Sheikh, has welcomed the reported trilateral defence cooperation agreement between Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Türkiye, describing it as a practical manifestation of unity among Muslim countries.
In a statement on Friday, he said the agreement would strengthen regional peace, stability and mutual trust while enhancing Pakistan’s defence and diplomatic standing. He added that stronger strategic cooperation would also create new opportunities for trade and investment.
Atif Ikram Sheikh said the business community welcomes every initiative that promotes peace, security and economic growth. He expressed the hope that closer cooperation among the three countries would boost investor confidence and contribute to regional economic prosperity.
