Director Information Gujranwala Division Munawar Hussain visited the District Information Office Mandi Bahauddin to review measures aimed at strengthening the dissemination of government policies, development projects and public welfare initiatives. District Information Officer Muhammad Qasim Ranjha was also present on the occasion.
During the visit, the Director inspected various sections of the office, reviewed official records, administrative affairs, ongoing publicity activities and checked staff attendance. He directed officers and officials to perform their duties with honesty, professionalism and a strong sense of responsibility, emphasizing that the Public Relations Department serves as an effective bridge between the government and the public.
Munawar Hussain stressed the importance of punctuality and office discipline, stating that the timely and authentic dissemination of information regarding government initiatives, development projects and public welfare programmes is one of the department’s primary responsibilities. He added that continuous professional development and adaptation to modern communication practices are essential.
He further instructed officials to ensure that the activities of the district administration, public service projects and government achievements are communicated to the public promptly and effectively through print, electronic and digital media to ensure the availability of accurate and verified information.
Expressing satisfaction over the overall performance of the office, Munawar Hussain said every officer and official of the Public Relations Department should continue to serve with dedication and contribute towards strengthening the institution’s professional reputation.
