She said the nation must never forget the enduring struggles and sacrifices of the Kashmiri people, who have faced immense hardships over the years. According to her statement, countless families have endured suffering, displacement and loss, making it all the more important that their aspirations for dignity, peace and justice remain at the forefront of national attention.
She further stated that Bilawal Bhutto Zardari’s leadership is shaped by his own personal experiences of loss and sacrifice, giving him a deep sense of empathy for those who have suffered. She expressed confidence that Bilawal Bhutto Zardari’s vision offers hope, unity, development and peace for the region while ensuring that the voices of the Kashmiri people remain central to the democratic process.
Recalling the legacy of Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, she said his historic address on the Kashmir issue at the United Nations continues to inspire generations and remains a powerful reminder of Pakistan’s longstanding support for the Kashmiri people. She added that the Bhutto family’s commitment has always been to stand by the people of Kashmir and to strive for a future where they can live with dignity, prosperity and security.
She urged all political parties to demonstrate responsibility, tolerance and maturity throughout the electoral process in order to strengthen democratic traditions and ensure that voters are able to exercise their democratic right in a peaceful and transparent environment.
Expressing confidence in the party’s electoral prospects, Sumblina Hassan said that on 27 July, the people of Azad Jammu and Kashmir would support the Arrow, the election symbol of the Pakistan Peoples Party, as a vote for development, prosperity, political stability and people-centred leadership.
