Punjab has taken another important step toward providing people with standard, timely and uniform medical services.
Provincial Health and Population Minister Khawaja Imran Nazir and Secretary Health and Population Nadia Saqib handed over the keys of modern monitoring vehicles for integrated service delivery monitoring to the CEOs of all districts across Punjab.
Through 36 modern monitoring vehicles, field activities of Community Health Inspectors, vaccinators, School Health and Nutrition staff, Lady Health Visitors, and Lady Health Supervisors will be monitored more effectively. The move is aimed at making health and population programmes more transparent, efficient and accountable.
Khawaja Imran Nazir said, “For us, every city is equal, and providing quality health facilities in every district is our top priority.”
The Punjab Health and Population Department said it remains committed to delivering better, timely and quality health services to the public through a modern monitoring system.
