Istanbul–Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar addressed the Pakistan–Türkiye Business Forum in Istanbul, emphasizing the need to transform the longstanding Pakistan–Türkiye relationship into a strong and meaningful trade and investment partnership.
Addressing business leaders and investors, Dar highlighted Pakistan’s unique geographical location, describing the country as a strategic bridge and connectivity corridor linking the Middle East, Central Asia, South Asia, and East Asia. He said this position offers significant opportunities for regional trade, investment, and economic cooperation.
The Deputy Prime Minister underscored Pakistan’s growing business and investment potential and invited Turkish companies to take advantage of the country’s investor-friendly environment. He encouraged Turkish businesses to explore new investment opportunities and establish joint ventures across various sectors in Pakistan.
Dar reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to strengthening economic ties with Türkiye and expressed confidence that enhanced business-to-business collaboration would further deepen the strategic partnership between the two countries.
