ISLAMABAD— Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq has paid heartfelt tribute to Hazrat Imam Hussain (AS), the Ahl e-Bait (AS), and the martyrs of Karbala on the occasion of Ashura, describing Karbala as an enduring symbol of sacrifice, steadfastness, truth, and justice.In his Ashura message, the Speaker said the unparalleled sacrifices of Hazrat Imam Hussain (AS) and his devoted companions continue to inspire humanity to uphold dignity, courage, and moral conviction in the face of oppression. He emphasized that the timeless message of Karbala promotes justice, compassion, tolerance, mutual respect, and national unity.Sardar Ayaz Sadiq also expressed solidarity with the people of Palestine and Indian Occupied Jammu & Kashmir, stating that their struggle for justice and dignity reflects the universal principles embodied by the sacrifice of Hazrat Imam Hussain (AS). He urged the nation to follow the teachings of Karbala by promoting patience, brotherhood, harmony, and social cohesion.Deputy Speaker National Assembly Syed Ghulam Mustafa Shah also paid tribute to Hazrat Imam Hussain (AS), the Ahl e-Bait (AS), and the martyrs of Karbala, saying that their legacy of sacrifice, courage, and steadfastness will continue to guide humanity. He called upon the nation to uphold the values of truth, justice, unity, and mutual respect exemplified by the martyrs of Karbala.
