The rally was led by Additional Deputy Commissioner-II Umair Ashraf, District Education Officer Secondary Shamsuddin Rathore, Deputy Directors of Social Welfare Khinraj Singh and Kailash Kumar Panar, DEO Primary Nasrullah Sahar, and Deputy Director Livestock Dr. Ajay Kumar Rupani, along with other officials.

A large number of government officials, teachers, students, traders, media representatives, civil society members and citizens participated in the rally, carrying banners and chanting slogans in support of Kashmir and Pakistan.

Addressing the participants, speakers described October 27, 1947, as a black day in Kashmir’s history and condemned alleged human rights violations in Indian-administered Jammu and Kashmir. They urged the United Nations and the international community to play an effective role in ensuring the Kashmiri people’s right to self-determination in accordance with relevant UN resolutions.

Before the rally, participants observed a one-minute silence to express solidarity with the people of Kashmir.
