RAWALPINDI — Newly appointed Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan Dr. Rajeh Tami Albugamy called on Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces, at General Headquarters (GHQ), Rawalpindi.
During the meeting, both sides discussed matters of mutual interest and regional security developments. They expressed satisfaction over progress under the Makkah Joint Defence Agreement and emphasised strengthening defence cooperation, institutional ties and strategic coordination.
Field Marshal Asim Munir congratulated the Saudi ambassador on his appointment and expressed confidence that his tenure would further strengthen the longstanding fraternal relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, based on shared faith, mutual trust and strategic partnership.
