SIBI — Commissioner Sibi Division Irfanullah Khan has pledged to utilise all available resources and capabilities to fulfil his official responsibilities effectively, emphasising that providing basic facilities and safeguarding citizens’ rights remain among his top priorities.
He expressed these views during a meeting with a delegation of journalists at his office. The delegation included Mir Allah Dad Rind, President of the Working Journalist Media Group and Central General Secretary of the Balochistan Media Forum; Senior Vice President Allah Yar Domki; and Deputy General Secretary Nadeem Babar Mughal.
The commissioner urged journalists to identify public grievances related to gas, electricity, water, healthcare and other essential services so that timely action could be taken to resolve them.
He stressed the need to strengthen the role of relevant government departments in addressing public concerns, adding that issues highlighted by journalists would receive due attention and genuine public grievances would be referred to the concerned authorities for necessary action.
Irfanullah Khan appreciated the role of journalists in highlighting public problems and assured them of the administration’s cooperation on matters concerning public welfare.
