RAWALPINDI — A high-level delegation from the Republic of Belarus, led by Lieutenant General Aleksandr Volfovich, State Secretary of the Security Council of Belarus, called on Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, NI (M), HJ, Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces (COAS & CDF), at General Headquarters (GHQ), Rawalpindi.
During the meeting, both sides discussed evolving regional and global security, matters of mutual interest and the scope of bilateral defence cooperation.
Field Marshal Asim Munir reiterated Pakistan’s desire to further strengthen defence and security cooperation with Belarus.
Lieutenant General Aleksandr Volfovich reciprocated the commitment to enhancing bilateral defence and security cooperation and appreciated Pakistan’s role in promoting regional peace and stability.
