ISLAMABAD– The Federal Government Employees Housing Authority (FGEHA) on Thursday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with a consortium of M/s Zee Brothers (Pvt.) Ltd. and M/s Ruya Developers (Pvt.) Ltd. for development of a housing/apartment project over approximately 1,600 kanals in Charsadda, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The MoU was signed at the FGEHA office in the presence of Director General Capt. (Retd.) Zafar Iqbal, senior officers and representatives of the consortium.

Located around six kilometres from the Charsadda Interchange on the M-1 Motorway and about 15 minutes from Peshawar, the project will be developed under the Land Sharing Model in accordance with FGEHA (JV & PPP) Rules, 2025. It is expected to provide residential facilities to around 700 to 800 registered FGEHA members.

Capt. (Retd.) Zafar Iqbal directed officials to ensure transparency, quality, merit and strict compliance with rules, while maintaining close monitoring to ensure timely completion.

He said FGEHA was also focusing on ongoing projects, including Sector F-14/F-15, Green Enclave-I and Lifestyle Residency Apartments, G-13. Possession of Margalla Orchard Block-A is targeted for July 2027, while possession of Sky Garden Blocks-A, B and D is targeted by December 31, 2026.

The Director General said the Charsadda project would provide modern residential facilities while also contributing to infrastructure development, employment and economic activity in the region.
