ISLAMABAD — Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Tariq Fazal Chaudhry called on Chairman Senate Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani at his residence and discussed parliamentary affairs, the legislative process and coordination between the Senate and the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs.
Both sides agreed to further strengthen cooperation to enhance the effective role of parliamentary institutions and reinforce the democratic process.
Yousaf Raza Gilani stressed that effective coordination between Parliament and the government is essential for facilitating legislation and ensuring timely progress on matters of public importance.
Tariq Fazal Chaudhry assured the Chairman Senate of the Ministry’s full cooperation and support for the smooth conduct of legislative and parliamentary business.
